Fathers Day Craft

It is Friday and some of you may still be searching for a present your children can give to their dad this year. All of the presents we did take time and love, and best of all – they were all COST EFFECTIVE! Below are some pictures of what we created and a short description of how to do them!

Trace your child’s hand, then cut out two copies. My paper was double sided so I made sure that when the thumbs match up – the yellow side would be inside, and the blue side would be outside. Cut out a strip of paper and fold it accordion style. Use letter rub-ons or stickers to add the words “I Love You” on the outside, and “This Much” on the strip of paper. Glue the ends of your accordion strip on the insides of the hands and your card is done. icon smile Fathers Day Craft

We got this idea from: A Day In My Life

This next one takes some help from a parent, but still worth the time! We created a blast from the past frame! We got a baby picture from both my son and his dad and put them together in an old fashioned layout inside of a regular picture frame. We grabbed odds and ends around the house and then used a few scrapbooking stickers that I already had around the house! This was a big hit for my son as he was able to compare himself to dad and provide dad something cute and memorable for a present this fathers day!

Let me know what you and your kids did this year to show dad you love him!
